COCA-COLA, Sidcup- Jackson Civils- Utilities work

PETTIT's Contracting with it's wealth of experience as a Civils Contractor, Highways Contractor and Utilities Contractor, completed Dig down, location and exposure of existing drainage utilities within the Coca-Cola depot.
PETTIT's ground works gang were tasked with locating services, breaking out reinforced concrete and exposure of utilities routes for relocation.
Rebar, formwork and concrete were then installed before reinstatement by others.
This small project was challenging in that the depot is a very busy hub and one of the largest delivery outlets in the south east, which had to remain fully functional:
-Busy, 'live' depot
-Confined working area
-flooding alleviation
s278 WORK, Kent- Jackson Civils- Utilities & Civils work
Location: Greenhithe, Kent

PETTIT's were Contracted to complete civils and utilities excavations, including location and exposure of existing utilities within footpaths and off-street land.
PETTIT's experienced civils works supervisors were tasked with locating services and exposure of utilities routes for relocation.
PETTIT's experienced ground works teams completed edging and kerb installations for new footpaths, and modified bell mouths.
This significant project was challenging in that the dual carriageway needing modification is a very busy area of commerce, thus material & plant logistics between PETTIT's work supervisors and the main contractor's project management and site teams needed to be well administered.

FM Conway- Deep Drainage- London
Location: Newham, London
Value: Circa £50k
PETTIT Contracting were employed to complete a drainage dig down to fix fractured pipe runs into main sewer in London. Temporary Works Design was completed by Pettit's and a shaft installed for partial element of the failed drainage route.
PETTIT's mobilised specialist confined spaces trained crews, with vast experience in shaft installation to carry out the extensive repair works over 3 weeks
This Project created a number of challenges that PETTIT's overcame including working adjacent and in conjunction with ongoing gas repairs in the same road, creating restrictive site access and restricted working arrangements.

PUROGENIX- Mechanical Package
Location: Sandwich, Kent
Value: Circa £350,000
PETTIT's were Contracted to complete the installation of mechanical pipework in Purogenix's pfizer refurbishment project on a Labour only subcontract.
PETTIT's mobilised our specialist Mechanical Installation teams and MIG & TIG Welding teams.
This Project created a number of challenges that PETTIT's overcame including:
-Programme interface challenges with other trades
-Compliance with a tight Construction Programme
-Limited Working Areas
KIER Infrastructure- UKPN Croydon Depot- Utility works

PETTIT's as one of the southeast's most reliable Highways Contractor and Utilities Contractor have worked numerous projects with Kier Infrastructure on the ED1SON Alliance works in the Croydon area.
PETTIT's have mobilised our specialist street works utilities teams to complete trail hole excavations and utility lay.
This Project sees a number of challenges including:
-Working on busy areas of Greater London
-Compliance with a tight Construction Programme
-Highways Access Restrictions
FM Conway/Hochtief- Streetworks- Reading
Location: Reading
Value: Circa £20k
PETTIT's were contracted to complete a number of drainage amendments in the Reading area on behalf of FM Conway/Hochtief.
PETTIT's sent a specialist crew to complete remediation works to the Reading network.
Challenges encountered included, working on busy A-roads in the area, against strict permit agreements from the local council.
DOVER- Section 278 Agreement works

PETTIT Contracting as one of the south east's most reliable Highways Contractor, Utilities Contractor and Civils Contractor have completed footway amendments as part of a developers s278 agreement, for their development in Dover.
PETTIT completed the works in 2 weeks, in a very difficult junction in Ripple, Dover.
This project encountered a number of challenges that PETTIT's, were able to overcome including:
-Two way light Traffic Management
-Junction works on a very narrow road
BWSC-Sandwich
Location: Sandwich, Kent
Value: Circa £2m
PETTIT's were successful in their tender to carry out Electrical and Utilities packages of work for Danish company Burmeister Wain Scandinavian Contractors, in their creation of a £250 million Biomass power station on the Kent coast.
PETTIT's worked closely with BWSC to ensure the Electrical element of the project ran as smoothly as possible on a project of significant size.
The biggest challenge for PETTIT's was the competition for local skilled electricians and cable pulling teams in the Kent area, with so many high value projects running concurrently including Dover Docks, Kemsley Mill and the resource vacuum created by the well documented White Hart Lane Project slipping enormously.
