PETTIT's were successful in their 2016 tender to carry out Electrical and Utilities packages of work for Danish company Burmeister Wain Scandinavian Contractors, in their creation of a £250 million Biomass power station on the Kent coast.

PETTIT's worked closely with BWSC to ensure the Electrical element of the project ran as smoothly as possible on a project of significant size.  

​

The biggest challenge for PETTIT's was the competition for local skilled electricians and cable pulling teams in the Kent area, with so many high value projects running concurrently including Dover Docks, Kemsley Mill and the resource vacuum created by the well documented White Hart Lane Project slipping enormously.
